First Pics of the Sidekick ID

The Sidekick ID has finally been found in the wild. T-Mobile is set to release a trimmed down version of the Sidekick, named the Sidekick ID. The Sidekick ID (SKiD) is lacking many features of the Sidekick 3, but what it lacks in features, it makes up for in price. It's estimated to be 1/2 the cost of the SK3, starting at $99 with 2 year service agreement. It still has instant messaging (AIM, Yahoo!, and MSN), email, web browsing, and the very familiar Sidekick interface. Features cut include Bluetooth, MP3 Player, digital camera, and a microSD slot. Expect to see it in June.

it's not the sk4. think of the same naming convention of the original sk to sk color before the skII... instead, this is kind a of a backtrack... a sk2.5, if you will.

Well, if it's going to be smaller and not that heavy I probably am gonna sell my SK3 at ebay and buy this one. I have an IPod, loathe Bluetoothe Headsets (why doesn't have real Bluetooth *grr*) and the camera is just ridiculously lousy...

it is not the SK4 or called SKID it is just the SK ID. does not have BT, Camera, or media player but will allow you more browsing capabilities and allow you to do blogs from the phone and is my faves compatable. it is scheduled to launch April 25 but may be a little later. The bumpers are removable for different colors and the bumpers cover the keys for better cushion and wear and tear.
