Sidekick 3 Prototype Shell?
This picture was sent in today and is reported to be a prototype shell for the Sidekick 3, taken from a Sharp production area. I can't verify it's authenticity, but I will tell you the general shape looks accurate. Hey super sleuths, any thoughts?Update: I have received numerous emails since posting this stating that this is a prototype mold, but it's not for the Sidekick 3, but instead for the original black & white Sidekick.

This mold had a fixed hinged to hide the swivel feature. This mold was used to fit electronics and to demo the unit to investors."

Fact = that shell shown is that of a BW Sidekick NOT a SK3.
Fact = Flextronics made the first device NOT Sharp as stated above in the post.

If you have a sk2 with insurance, can you just accidentally loose your phone and upgrade for 110.00, since the sk2 is no longer being made they are out of stock, so therefore, will you get the sk3
