Check earlier posts tonight tonight to get official details and to get information on ordering the Sidekick 3, we will also have an order link up here the Sidekick 3 blog soon. I am also putting up a host of new Sidekick 3/Hiptop pics tonight that validate the SonicBoom comment I made a while back and show a high quality version of the recent alternative splash page pic I showed.
These pics are from Danger and have been made available through a special developer online manual.

what i dont get is the sonic boom thing over at engadget it is showed as music player. i dont get it. is it cause of the theme or just cause of the theme changes?!?

I got mine already, my father works for Danger. It is the best device ever invented. The internet is faster and better. The music sounds great. It takes a while to get used to the trackball, but you get the hang of it. The screens quality is a little but better, can't complain. And the camera's quality is grrrrrrreat! I have the Mr. Cartoon version so it is fashionable. The carrying cases are more stylish than the ones for the Sidekick II. It is a little bit smaller than the Sidekick II which makes it able to carry in your pocket.

I have a couple of questions...
1.) Was this upgrade program for everybody with a sk2 or just for the people who's contract is ended?
2.) Was this an emal sent to all sk2 tmail accounts, cause I didn't receive it?
3.) Will we have to turn in our original sk2 in order to get the sk3?
(Somebody please answer my 3 questions)
So... The upgrade from the SKII is the same as the upgrade from the CSK ...right?
Um, they are going to correct the spelling of the word "calendar" before shipping, right?
It doesn't look bad at all. To bad the screen resolution is the same. I guess we will have to wait ( for those of us who don't have the inside hookup) to see just how well everything works out.
I'm curious to know if existing members get to upgrade. Like the CSK to SK2.
these shots have MMS....will t-mobile have it on theirs?
Im happy with the screen on the sidekick 2, so im sure its fine onthe sidekick 3 as well. Functionality is a lot more important that the quality of the screen. It's not like we need to play UT2007 on it :P

This is on the top of each page of the manual so I guess we wont know until it comes out.
Note: This application is not available in all product configurations. Product configurations vary by wireless operator.

these pics are not from the T-mobile Sidekick3, these pics are from a developers version.
if you do not see the T-Mobile logo on the top-left corner of the screen...it is no the t-mobile sidekick3!!!
some ppl got pre-versions of the sk3 provided either from t-mo or from danger (depending on the time they got the device) and they are slightly different than the Sidekick3 that we will see 07-10-06.
the one you see in engadget are the pics for a T-mobile Sidekick 3. the music player will be called "Music Player" no "SonicBoom" and it does not support MMS.
dont get confused...yes, you probably have seen screenshoots of a different sk3...but the one that will be on T-Mobile Stores here in the USA by 07/10/06 is the one without MMs and "MusicPlayer"

how do u(william reeves) have the mr. cartoon if its not coming out?!?!?!
There's SonicBOOM, and then there's the Mini Music Player... they're both applications on the SK3... the controls that used to bring up the Brightness level (Jump + Done buttons) open up the Mini Music Player... it can be accessed from any application and doesn't interrupt what you're doing.
I'm not really sure what the difference in the two applications are. Maybe you can create playlists with SonicBOOM... or maybe there's other editing features on that app.
