I really hope this isnt real. The sk3 needs a sleeker, hipper, more sophistacated OS. It looks like a freakin kiddie phone right now
i think it looks fine..if you want a more sophisticated OS, then grab a windows mobile phone, or a palm OS...i think this OS is more user friendly..very bright, colorful, and entertaining...
Oh and tattoo is spelled wrong on one of the e-mails. haha

actually Q details are released...199 with 2 year contract, which is DIRT CHEAP for a phone that powerful...but if your in a contract with VZW then retail price is around $419...as far as the SK3 i think i can get a good deal for it since ill be getting it with a contract...i know places in NYC that gave out SKIIs for $99-$0 with a 2 year contract...so i doubt ill go to a t-mobile store to snatch one up.

If you know how to use a computer and check picture embedded properties you will see that those pictures were generated on those dates and time of the day as they indicate in the picture.

Even the full size picture of the SK posted a day or two back is made on Jan 17th 2006 at 5:30pm...
Well if your locked in a t-mobile contract already, then it doesnt matter where you buy your SK3..but i always recommend to people who arent in a contract to go to 3rd party authorized dealer, as they usually have better deals then an actual t-mobile store when you activate a plan and buy a new phone...

Anybody notice that the second e-mail in this picture of the e-mail app mentions the NBA?
As I mentioned a few posts back about the commercial during American Idol, I think it is WAY more likey that a commercial for the SK3 (if there will be one at all) will pop up during an NBA game. The NBA Finals (Sponsored by T-Mobile) Begin June 8. That is 2 days after the confidentiality agreement between Danger/Sharp and the FCC expires...What do you think?

I would never, ever get ANY phone or contract from an authorized dealer. I used to be one almost a year then went direct, then realized how much authorized dealers really screw people over.
Third party dealers are always going to beat out directs in pricing. And please explain how a thrid party dealer will always "screw" you over? It seems that you worked in a corrupt establishment.
hahaha yea authorized dealers will always give you better deals...people like the "comfort" of direct dealers because of the name brand..but in reality nothing will beat 3rd party dealers...

The issues here is not about intelligence or skincolor. It is about education level and not talking about what school or how long someone went there. IF a person wants to educate themself they can do so and the internet and thereby the SK can be a great tool for that (obviously the internet is full of both fact and fiction so...).
Its true that hiptop is full of silly childish remarks, but lets face it Danger is a business and the original SK was designed for kids in mind. Let's hope there is some truth to the rumors about different levels of SK devices, and taking into account the Danger.com redesign not all too long ago into a more corporate looking site and less comics looking one, maybe there is hope?

White or black it's still a sidekick, they both have the same functions and exactly the same inside!
If this is actually the layout for the new Sidekick, I'm afraid they're going to lose a lot of customers who are seeking a more sleek and sophisticated device.
It's a shame: the icons seem to have gone from moderately acceptable to downright offensive; it looks like the work of a three-year-old.
Notice how your SK2 now has OS 2.3 and the one to be released will have 3.0 the pictures are taken in Jan 2006, who know from how early on proto. Either way time will showwhat it will look like. Not only that but it does seem like there will be more ''access'' to load programs and such, and if Danger themself won't offer it I'm sure some 3rd party will develop ''desktop'' editing options like on most of the other PDA type devices.
The sidekick 4 is comming out in 2008... can't wait!!

Sorry if I was not clear enough, one poster here was refering to certain ways people express themself and that having to do with race. I was trying to point out that this is not the case, but it has to do with other factors.
