This isn't news...SK2 we had the same issue...the manual states keep credit cards away from the magnet because it will destroy your credit card...We already knew this...

people are finding any little excuse to DOWNPLAY the sk3..give it up people..you knew basically EVERYTHING about the sk3 way before it came out..why are people picking at it.

Yeah I did it a year ago to my creditcard. than I just recently did it to my hotel key. it happens i'm just used to carrying my card and my phone together. ha.

It's false.
Myhtbusters had to use one of the strongest magnets in the world to completely erase a credit card.
So I'm sure that a Sidekick 3 won't harm a credit card...maybe a hotel room key though.

They can type the credit card numbers in manually, just like on an e-commerce site, no one "needs" to swipe a card, just a luxury...
