Possible Sidekick 3 Manual Shot Confirms Music Player is SonicBOOM
Here is the latest in a series of Manual shots for the Sidekick 3, that may or may not be legitimate. If someone would go to the trouble of creating the whole idea of a HipTunes promo with Beyonce, they could certaily fake THIS. This image supposedly from the manual for the Sidekick 3 suggests the name of the music application as SonicBOOM. Looks like a lot of work to manage your playlist.

I'm 1st (jaypea), sound like a piece of cake to me
USB 1.1 ?!?!
Why wouldn't they use USB 2.0, especially for transferring mp3s.
*Ding First*
I'm 1st, (jaypea), sounds like the sk3 is closer than we all think
How big of a memory card can it support, will it be able to hold a 2gig memory card. Oh yeah I'm 1st (jay pea)
im first. ha. #1
Good job bsd now we got good proof of the mp3 player for the sidekick III
This article is fake. 1) By google image searching "boom box" you can find the exact same "logo" that this manual has for SonicBOOM. Hiptop.com has confirmed this article to be FAKE.
awesome.
Sweet! doesn't look offical but yeah.. not trying to start any drama *ducks*
Seems a bit strange to me. I don't think I have ever seen a manual that speaks to the "layperson" mentioning mounting/unmounting drives...Just the language in it seems to say "Faked".
haha im first thanks alot bsd
Looks SUPER simple to me; Plug in SK3 to the PC, copy files 2 the mini SD (in the SK3), unplug and "lean wit it rock wit it" lmao!
BAM! First!
SonicBOOM haha, what a stupid name, the dial app should be called celular sensory interface technology [ACTIVATE]
Coo, but why is the quality of each "manual's page" different? One looks cheaper than the other, and the txt seems a lil diff, and if it were from the same place, wouldn't it look identical?? But that's jus what I think... Some1 that knows more, should speak on it
Yay I'm first here.
1) can we please get a full manual because these single page shots can be fabricated. 2) In this day and age of USB 2.0 they put in a USB 1.1 port on the device making transfering of music much slower than necessary this is a negative in my book.
I'm first
Yay I'm first.
1) Could you please provide us with the complete manual. Single page documents are easy to doctor. Get us a full PDF file.
2) If this is true I think its pretty sloppy of T-Mobile and Danger to provide a 1.1 USB port instead of the standard 2.0 USB port.
It looks like Danger/T-Mobile is listening to their current and future users on what they want. On the other hand, it may be a Danger manual and T-Mobile might take that function away and just leave it for photo data only?!? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Firstly, wow with all the "yay, I'm first" posts?
Secondly, no way. While TMobile might not know what they're doing all the time, Danger and Sharp sure do. There's no way they'd release a device now with USB 1.1. I'm calling fake.
"There's no way they'd release a device now with USB 1.1."
USB 2.0 is actually not too common on smaller devices yet! Look at some pocket full computers for $2K they still run 1.1 and have been updated/released in the past months.
I hope that this is fake.
Man!!!, what's with the jazz of being first, A 1.1 usb, come on now, some stores don't even sell those anymore, those pics are a fake, its 2.0 usb and up. SonicBOOM is also a lame name, if anything call it "DaSHIT" (Da Sidekick Hiptop Interface Technology). Oh yeah, by the way I was 1st (jaypea)...
