Rumors on Sidekick 3 Built in Music Player (Look out Ipod)
As I mentioned a little while back in my review, the Sidekick 3 has a music player. The interface is simple, looking only like a list of songs, not a complex music player, but a clean list with a little green music note icon (like on Itunes) and then the song name next to the music note. The format of the songs is plain and simple. An interesting rumor was shared with me and I wanted to pass it along on the outside chance that someone can add a little credibility to thiss:
"I thought you would be interested to know that Danger and T-Mobile just struck a deal with Beyoncé and the Pussycat Dolls to pre-load some of their upcoming songs in the sidekick's music player when it will be released."
Interesting don't you think? The only reason I am sharing it is because I believe it is likely true because of the Sidekick's previous marketing "friends" Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg and the host of rappers who love the Sidekick and Hiptop platform. Also, it would make sense that the company would want to market the music application in the new Sidekick 3. If anyone has anymore tips, feel free to email me at sidekicker3@gmail.com

Unless you're waiting to see the OS then theres no point because you've already seen the sidekick. The release date isnt getting pushed back. How can a release date be pushed back if hasn't even been formally announced. You all are crazy.
Here's what I can see on this:
1) The SK3 is going to be coming out (no one knows for certain).
2) This site must be legit because I was sent here a 3 weekends ago by a T-Mobile SK2 2nd level tech.
3) When I returned the loaner I was using to a store (my beloved SK2 died on me so I had to get a new one) last Saturday I was informed that no one knows when the SK3 was coming out.
4) Pretty strange the date on the last picture was Jun 26, 2006. (but not stating that this means that is when it will be released.
why put beyonce and the pussy cat dolls on their?..I mean all pretty girls but put something on that will stay on my playlist..I mean I don't know about you guys and girls...but I will quickly delete those songs....and I have one question...When the sk2 was released..did they have a pre-paid plan?..I'm with sprint and have a treo but I want a sk3 for the i.m., so I was wondering if the sk3 will be available under a pre-paid plan....Thanks
Is the sk3 going to come w/ a default sd card (memory card) or will we have to purchase one for music? If it comes w/ one how much memory will it have? I'd rather not walk around w/ a sk3 and an ipod. It would be nice to have everything in one device.
I think that new pictures of the SK3 will be released on 06/06/06, but I'm not sure. The FCC/T-Mobible/Danger should be releasing pictures really really soon. (early june I believe.)
Can someone explain to me what OS is? My question is whther or not it will let you use your iTunes music. Unless ITunes approves the chances of putting your iMusic on the sidekick3 seems pretty unlikely.
ATTENTION Can you please confirm if the Sidekick 3 bluetooth SUPPORTS A2DP Stereo song playing profile? So it can support stereo ear pieces that go inboth your ears so you can listen to songs using wireless headphones? Please say it does!! Thanks
Sk3 or ipod? "Sidepod" screw itunes, if you can actualy put your own music on the sk3 I can't ask for much more. That's all I'd need.
The fact that the owner of this site even posted something like this makes me believe he's not real. Why would danger waist there time doing that? Not everyone likes their songs. and it would take so much longer for them to release the sidekick3 if they had to preload a bunch of songs on it. duh! it seems so pointless.

^ You are right. To the guy asking about the bluetooth headphones. I can only hope. In our meeting today we discussed how the new Nokia 6103 doesn't support that. In everything I've read theres been nothing other than that it's bluetooth enabled. I wish I knew the answer to that myself. Let me also clarify something for some people. The music doesnt go into the sidekick. The sidekick merely reads a miniSD card that you load your own music onto. It comes standard with 64mb.

Yes it will be preloaded with beyonce's "check on it" and pussycat doll's latest hits. it will have these songs because its 'returning' the favor to these celebs. They advertise the sk3 and they (Danger, Inc.) promotes their music.

I talked to a danger rep yesterday and I asked him about the sk3, he said he didn't know anything new he only knew the stuff about the fcc. so I guess the danger reps don't know anything...... or was he just trying to through me off??

then put it back in the SKIII.

It will be pre-loaded with music, of course it will. It has to show people a preview of it.
You can purchase a 1gb for the sk3. 2gb have been made but are not out yet.

they arent very expensive at all, its like transferring photos from a digital camera, im sure if this is how its implemented, there will be instructions in the manual on how to do it.

Acually.....NOT "look out Ipod" This music player that is supposedly going to be installed on the new SK3, is said to most likely be an ITunes Music player
Its also going to have a 1.3 megapix camera wiht a better flash and will hopefully have better screen quality and bluetooth technology
I would think it will come with songs from Paris Hilton because her album is rumored to come out rite around the same time as the SIDEK!CK III and she has always been a big promoter for them!
