sidekick's are perfect, that's why everyone loves 'em!
I like the new menu where apps are grouped together.
Example: At the root menu, all 3 instant messengers are grouped together in one folder. The Calendar, Notes, and To Do apps are grouped together in another folder. The downloaded apps are in 1 folder. The games are in 1 folder...etc.
the trackball is the best thing about this fone sad 2 say but it truely is its easy to use and smooth as fuck!!
I've been wanting a phone with music and decent camera..and the sk3 does just that. The trackball is an interesting feature and I like how you could change the background of the sidekick itself (although the selection is limited to only 4). I feel very free to do much more on this phone. It's just a shame that they force you to download better ringtones: the ringtones attached for free aren't that good.

I believe all ringtones must be purchased from their catalog. From what I've heard, the catalog are being updated asap. Right now, not all sk2 apps are compatible with sk3.

is it really tru that the sonicboom music thing only holds 10songs? that would be sum bs if it did! what would be the point of havin a mp3 player if it only holds that many songs!
I liked the rubber keys from the SK2 but after typing on the SK3 with the hard plastic keys, I like the plastic keys better. I type faster and the feel is better and there is a smooth transition from key to key compare to the SK2 where there wasn't a smooth transition.
it can hold as many songs as the MiniSD card you're willing to buy for it.

Just a question for all the other sk3 owners. I put mine too charge for at least four hours and it has still been charging and its been aobut 6 hours now and has not stopped charging. Like the little light next to teh charging slot is still on. Has anyone else had this problem of it charging so long? any help greatly appreciated.

does it really affect the phone if you dont let it fully charge??? i have NEVER listened to that instruction and ive never had a problem with my phones. ive gone through 4 SKII and never let it fully charge b4 i turned it on.
I got my sidekick 3 this morning and I put it on the charger @10:00 it was still charging @ 5:30. I just gave up and took it off the charger, it said 100% charged. I like the phone so far, however the screen and keyboard feel soooo cheap, its like a play cellphone for a 2 year old. Eventually I got used to it and I guess its alright. I just like the sturdy screen of the old sk2.
I love the SK3..it fits more comfortable in my hand. Compared to the SK2 I am glad they chagned the facing, it is no longer bulky and I love the slimmer look. Even though it feels as some has said plastic the quality is still there and I prefer the new style over the previous bulky SK2. I am enjoying my SK3.
The best part was that although I switched to MDA and dropped my sidekick service the day the MDA came out, last night I added sidekick back on for the 3, and within 10 minutes ALL my old sidekick data and settings showed up. wallpaper, text messages, speeddial, phonebook, aim - EVERYTHING - like I never left. THAT is why I love DANGER.
Is anyone using the SK3 with their prepaid sim cards? I know they said they might not be supporting prepaid yet..
the music player rocks!!! I love my sk3. video would be nice, but no complaints here! I don't even know what the whole "cheap feel" thing is about. its just a little lighter. the keys actually feel much more sturdy than the sk2. I mean the screen and back feel lighter, and if you tap them it sounds more hollow, but its lighter!! As long as it passes the test of time you have no complaints from me. Enjoy your SK3's yall
I have a min sd that i use for my mp3 player. Its packed with mp3 will they play right away or do i have to reinstall thru the sidekick usb??
they should play right away, its not like you have to use any special program or anything

I really don't understand y everyone is up in arms about the sk3. All these things that people disliked about the phone were really non existent. I was feeling bummed because I thought it was a piece of crap so I decided to stop over my nearest tmobile store in philly and they happened to have an operating demo of the phone. I was amazed and awestruck at first but I flipped the screen which wasn't a big of deal as people made it out to be. The keys are definitely cool. I type the same with or without the rubber coated keys. The trackball is definitely a big upgrade from the scroll button although I like both. The phone didn't have any music stored in it so I couldn't try sonic boom but the program was pretty organized it seemed. I'd rather stick with my ipod. The picture quality was pretty sweet and the changing backgrounds. Unfortunately u cant use ur own photos as a background but maybe with an over the air update that can be fixed. The form of the phone was definitely more streamlined and sexy, I fell in love with it immediately. So initially with all the bad press the sk3 received I tried for myself and loved it and will be getting it. I really did expect a bit more in terms of higher quality parts being used such as the screen, that could've been easily a higher res. And the os could've had a better makeover than making icons look prettier and some programs being grouped together. The keys are well placed btw, like the shoulder buttons that everyone was complaining about. Yes they are closer to the screen but are not impossible to press. I'm a big guy and have large hands and its not a big task for me. Overall my opinion is if u liked the sk2 then u'll like the sk3.
I love mine too. Its very sexy amazing. Even though I got free music off sidekicktones.com.....(when the site was up) on my sidekick two... I still wanted this baby. The track ball is great....... its faster going own the page without taking your tumb off of it.... I love when the track ball lights up so cool.....

Ski..how do you hook up your sk3 to the car cd player?
I like that the phone is smaller and faster web and bluetooth. I feels more more comtable to me. I also Like the way the new T jingle ringtone sounds. Overall the 3 is better then the 2. all day long.

Is saw the customized ringtone section in the manual. I guess they haven't installed this feature as of yet...it might be coming OTA.
I like the little light that indicates that the battery is charging. It's a small thing, but a nice touch.

been with the sk3 for a whole day, and its really awesome.. i havent been able to utilize the full upgrades like blutooth and all that, but the mp3 player is awesome... volume is great when there isnt too much background noise.. at first i didnt like the new plastic keys but ive grown to like them better... im pretty much very happy all around with the new SK3..

I love the trackball. I think it should work on more menus options and apps though. I love the camera. No zoom but i'll get over it coming from an sk2. I love this damn beatdown boxing game too. It's te bomb. They could've kept that stupid rocket game though. When are they gonna have tekken??...lol

The track ball rules! The web browser smokes! I love the new keys. They feel much better. The camera is a huge improvement. I love the size. It just feels and runs soo great. I love it for sure. I thought I was going to miss the bumpers but I think I like it the way it is now. It looks soo hight tech and cool. It just rocks! What else can I say?
