New Details Emerge From A Sidekick 3 User

New Details on the Sidekick 3 Emerge:
- You get a choice of 4 backgrounds for the interface page, not sure whether or not you can download your own
- The camera resolution goes up to wallpaper size on a computer
- The OS screen resolution seems the same
- Trackball is odd at first, but better than the wheel
- The only cool background in my opinion is grey and black (similar to the graffitti style of the psp ad campaign). it has a Sidekick 3 with angel wings as the theme...
- The camera seems to be only slightly better..
- I didnt see any video stuff..maybe i missed it..also, the music player option in the menu is just called "music player," didnt see anything about sonicBOOM or Hiptunes

Who here thinks that the Sidekick 3 is a little too late. Sidekick 2 was cool becausae it had all these features that other phone didnt have. Sidekick 3 seems more like a sidekick 2.5 to me with only minor upgrades. Sure it looks cool as hell but are (and have been for over a year) phones out there that are able to do all of its features and more. Plus other phones allow you to install what ever you want on them.
Right now I'm jsut kind of on the fence about whether I should get this or just get a more feature rich smart phone. I guess I will jsut have to wait and play around with the SK3 a bit to see.
What are your opinions?
Honestly, I have to admit that I am sad to hear that the resolution hasn't been upgraded much nor the camera.
Hmph.
Seems like it's music-focused which is good for non-MP3 owners or people who wanted to fuse it in the phone [shrugs].
I dont think a blackberry even has a camera. I think the sidekick 3 will have video. tmobile wouldnt make a new phone with out many updates and only an update on mp3.
bah, I was so insanely excited for the sidekick three a few months ago, but now I am slightly dissapointed.

1) No resolution/screen upgrade
(after seeing my roomies display on his new treo 700p I am drooling with envy. Makes my sk2 look like an atari)
2) Apparently not fully customizable
(why? It really can't be that hard to implement guys, can it?)
3 No wifi
4 Apparently not much smaller, sleeker, streamlined.
(I know there's rumor of razr like model, but that isnt even on the horizon yet)
5 No camera upgrade?!
(come on, I was first row at a kelly clarkson concert and took a pic with my sk2, only to have a big, white, low-res blob appear where Kelly should've been. Seriously worst camera on a phone you could imagine...wouldn't take much to drastically upgrade that shit!)
it appears the only huge, big changes are bluetooth and the trackball...
*sigh
Come on Danger! The sidekick is such a user friendly, wonderful device...upgrade that shit with something worth salivating over, not a shitty ol' overhyped sidekick 2.3 release!
