Wi-Fi? ? It looks like the answer is no. The product road map slide from a few months ago that leaked to Engadget showed it being added to a model a few months later (assuming that slide was legit and assuming that T-Mobile is even still following that roadmap).
Without Wi-Fi, I will be buying an MDA and kissing my Sidekick days goodbye.

After reviewing your current posting...I contacted a T-mobile store in Baltimore. We should be seeing commericals soon and it will be available the last week of June per the sales person. The price should be around $400 due to the bluetooth. You can upgrade if you have a monthly plan. The salesperson described the sidekick that it will have a track ball. I can't wait!!!

those of you thinking of going to the MDA are gonna regret it trust me. Youll have to charge the batt. every 12 hours and reset it over and over when it locks up. Not to mention theres no push email. Just sold mine of ebay.
No wifi
The wireless networks are bluetooth and grps/egprs
Wifi you can get miniSD wifi cards, all we need is a driver made for the Sk3

There are no indications the product was ever tested for 802.11 (wifi) anywhere in the records, and everything's out now with regard to wireless.
When it says wireless, it means phone and Bluetooth.
Even the current model has a "turn off wireless" command.
Wireless access is via EDGE and GPRS, NOT 802.11.
No video for this Sidekick.
And as the ol' saying goes... RTFM.

Great upgrade, but I think the Killer App here would have been Video Capability, though it is a big drain on the battery... I was thinking Sidekick3 w/ 4gigabyte flash card could have replaced iPod w/ Video, but now I'm not so sure... Still, the bluetooth upgrade along with MP3 and 1.3megapixel camera is pretty awesome! Will probably buy it.
So, how many people are buying these July 10th and how many are waiting for UMA? How important is UMA?

Just so everyone knows...The manual is not complete. I have seen companies do this before...they won't show everything until promos start. The sidekick 3 just might have a video...
I come to this site daily and miss the fact that there has not been any addtional info in the last few days....I can't wait to see what other info you will be updating us with.
